Shanghai Duan & Duan Law Firm was founded in 1993 as the first partnership law firm established in China with investment from returned overseas students after the reform and opening-up, and is distinguished by its high-end foreign-related legal services. The Shanghai Duan & Duan (Chengdu) Law Firm (Chengdu office) was officially established in 2015 and is located in the Chengdu Financial City. It has more than 120 lawyers, paralegals, trainee lawyers and administrative staff in total, and operates three specialized centers: the Foreign-Related Legal Service Center, the Bankruptcy (Restructuring and M&A) Professional Legal Affairs Center, and the Intellectual Property Practice Center.
