Wan Yang 万杨

Wan Yang is a partner at China Commercial Law Firm's Shanghai office. He holds an LLB from Beijing Normal University, an LLM from Leiden University, and is a PhD candidate at the University of Cologne. From 2014 to 2024 he worked at the Dutch firm Houthoff, serving successively as Asia representative, Greater China representative, China project manager and China affairs specialist, before joining China Commercial in September 2024. His practice covers foreign-related legal services, corporate operation and governance, and special-asset M&A and restructuring, with expertise in cross-border M&A and greenfield investment. He has advised Xinhuanet on establishing a Dutch subsidiary, China Construction Bank on its Amsterdam branch, and Xiamen Airlines on its Amsterdam office.
